Sex Differences in Kidney Disease

This article on sex differences in kidney disease was fascinating to write. Researchers are learning more about how sex hormones subtly influence physiology, disease presentation, severity, response to therapy, and related topics. We know a bit more about these differences in heart disease, but the study of this in fields like renal physiology is just beginning to open up. I’m exciting to follow future developments in this area. https://www.kidneynews.org/view/journals/kidney-news/13/5/article-p1_1.xml
